Home is the place where one lives with his or her family. So these "Vastu tips for Home" are very important for the person to attract positive energies at home. Vastu is about attracting positive energies, make sure everything in your home emits and attracts positivity. One should always remember the directional significance of the ideal location for kitchen, bedroom, washroom, guestroom and other rooms in one's house.
Here in this article, the focus will be on giving you the important tips which if implemented at home can help you in getting rid of Vaastu Defect. Here are the most important Vastu Tips for Your Home:-
Main Entrance Gate: The sun rises in the east, bringing lots of optimistic energy and that is why it is considered as the most favorable direction for the main entrance. The Main Entrance Gate should have two panels. The main door should not open inside the house. The doors in the house should not be noisy.
Kitchen: The kitchen ideally, should be towards South-East, the direction of God of Fire. Northwest corner is also an ideal location for a kitchen. All cooking should be done while facing east or north. Kitchen appliances such as mixers, juicers, microwaves and toasters should be kept in the southeast corner.
Main Bedroom: The main bedroom should be located in the South and not in the north. If the bedroom is located in the North, there would be unrest in the family. One should always sleep with their head towards the south. The inmates should not take meals in the bedroom otherwise they will suffer bad health, especially while they sit on the bed while eating.
Puja Room: The Puja Room should be located in the North East direction. While worshiping, the person should face the East. One should not sleep in the Puja Room.
Water Storage Tanks: North East is the the direction which is ideal for Water storage. Thus underground water tanks, filter etc. should be kept in this direction.
Bathroom: The bathroom should ideally be located in the East. Alternatively, it can be located in the North-West. Sanitary and bath fittings must be of good quality and should work smoothly. If broken, they should be fixed immediately. It is also recommended (and sensible, in our opinion, we might add), that the toilets, kitchen and Pooja room in the house should not be adjacent to each other.
Living Room: The living area is a place where the entire family sits together for conversation. The living room should always be in the north direction. The chairs of dining tables must be even-numbered. The south and west corners of the room are ideal for keeping furniture.
Children’s Room: Children’s room can be located in this corner i.e. the North West of the house. The study room can also be located in this direction. Avoid sticking furniture to the wall as it blocks the flow of positive energy. The study table should be placed in a way so that the child faces the east, north or north eastern corner of the room. The computer should be kept in the southwest corner.
Colors: Colors used in the house can make or break the mood so beware of the colors,Shades of blue, white, dark green, and yellow are widely recommended. Paintings or photographs depicting war, sad faces, birds like owl, crow, pigeon, erotic pictures etc. should not be used for decoration in the house.
