· If the groom’s horoscope is Dev Gana and the bride is Manushya Gana the point is 0.
· If the groom’s horoscope is Rakshash Gana and the bride is Dev Gana the point is 0.
When the point scored is Zero or 0 then it is what is called a Gana Dosha. Many alliances can be turned off because of Gana dosha, however some marriages are done despite Gana dosha if other factors are favorable. Cancellation of Gana Dosha

· Gana dosha is cancelled due to the friendship of Lords of Moon signs and due to the difference between Navanshpati of Lords of Moon signs
· Gana dosha is also cancelled due to the friendship of planets and due to the difference between Nadis of the bride and groom
· No dosha is considered in a kundali in the absence of Tara, Vashya, Yoni, Grahamaitri and Bhakut doshas
